About CSK

Czech Dental Chamber

The Czech Dental Chamber (ČSK) is an independent, self-governing, non-political professional body that unites all dental practitioners in the Czech Republic. Established by law on 21 September 1991 and headquartered in Prague, ČSK’s mandate includes protecting professional interests, upholding standards, ethics, and public trust in dentistry.

As a compulsory professional association, ČSK maintains the official register of approximately 10,500 dentists and oversees licensing, practice standards, discipline, and complaint resolution. The Chamber supports lifelong learning by organizing accredited courses, residencies, conferences (including the Prague Dental Days), and operates a continuing education centre.

ČSK is a full member of key international dental organizations such as FDI (World Dental Federation), CED, ADEE, and more, ensuring Czech dentistry remains aligned with global best practices. It publishes the scholarly journal LKS, distributed monthly to members and stakeholders.
